PHOEBE LIM is an American Council of Exercise Certified Personal Trainer and Les Mills Certified Body Combat® Instructor.
Her resume in being active possibly dates back to her childhood years, where she is an eager beaver in trying out all things related to sports and fitness, if possible. She appreciates the fact that sport do help to build character, and everyone should at least get involve in a fitness activity that they enjoy. It does not matter if it is an indoor, outdoor, a simple or vigorous workout. What matters more is that you learn to move your body according to your own ability and being sedentary only likens you to being killed slowly inside out.
Being a safe and effective fitness coach is not easy, as she has learned. But experiences count. Phoebe has learned through the ropes of practicing empathy with sincerity in her work. Her passion in helping the general public to create little positive changes in their lives had resulted in a total career change since 2008. Phoebe had past working experiences in the field of event management, sale and marketing support. Her first taste in fitness coaching is by becoming a group exercise instructor in commercial clubs, specializing in Body Combat® and then reading American Council on Exercise’s Personal Trainer certification course.
If she is not busy conducting group classes and personal training, Phoebe dedicates her time to help oversee the fitness department in Fitness Innovations (FIT) Malaysia. She currently holds the profile of Fitness Manager, managing a pool of networked personal trainers under FIT and helping clients to better understand their want, need and goal in fitness.
Phoebe's personal mission is to help create as many life-changing experiences to people whom she crosses path with; be it a client, a student, a fellow gym-goer, a family member or a friend. She believes that exercise should be fun with no personal barriers behold, as long as they embrace the concept of "Balance and Moderation".
